Check out the two attachments which show the various locations and who is currently exhibiting. Have fun. Share your art. Get some exposure and maybe sell a piece or two if you are lucky.

Reception at Art Access Gallery in Bexley, January 31st, 5-8p.
WAAL Member Rod Hayslip will have several large-scale paintings in this group show. ”Pop in to say hello – it will be a fun celebration!”

>>>> Michael Tizzano, Sculptor, will be offering the following artistic workshops for adults and youth (grades 8 – 12):
- Sculpt and Sip is a three-part artistic retreat for sculpture, offered by Mike, for the Riverside Art Center, Wapakoneta, March 6, 7 and 21. Specifics regarding dates, times, offerings, and registration information are included in the attached pdf, Sculpt and Sip with Michael Tizzano.
- In addition, Mike will offer a two-part workshop on sculpting for students, grades 8 – 12th, March 7th and 21st at the Riverside Art Center in Wapakoneta, as well. Registration information and details with respect to this youth workshop are included in the pdf, Students Sculpting with Michael Tizzano.

We have started to see members escape to warmer locations for the winter. I’m sure they are taking their sketchbooks.
Those present at the last meeting enjoyed Jeff Stahler’s presentation. He brought some of his original cartoon drawings and it was fun to see those same cartoons in the Dispatch over the following week.
The WAAL board will be meeting on Feb 1st to discuss venues, membership, and other topics. If there is anything you wish to raise to the board’s attention, email me at President.WorthingtonAreaArtLeague.com.
>>Possible Drawing Workshop – Nora Daniels, our speaker for the April meeting has offered to lead a drawing workshop earlier that day, April 9, 10am-6pm. The minimum number of six participants at $85 per person. If we can get the required number of participants, I will book a location. This exhibit features the original artwork created by Drew Friedman for All the Presidents, as well as his presidential-themed original art created for, among others, , , TIME, , , , , and TOPPS “Wacky Packs.”

Started in 1989, Art for Life is a biennial event that brings over 1000 art enthusiasts and the community’s business and civic leaders together in support of Equitas Health’s efforts to raise critical funds in the fight against HIV and AIDS.
