Put something in the subject like like “WAAL news to share” so that it does not get mistaken for something else. Make sure it arrives a day or so before the next announcement. Keep the news item simple. Plain text is best. If there are images or documents to attach make sure they are sized for web use. Please don’t send ready to print type files as they are usually way too big to share in email. If there is a web page containing your information include the URL. It’s the best and easiest way to share information as it comes right from the official source.

Rediscover WAAL Welcome to the WAAL 2020-2021 Season! We have a lot of exciting things in store this year, starting with our first meeting “Show & Tell” on Thursday, September 10th. Each member is invited to share two recent works of art or craft that they have created (or are currently working on). Images should be attached to an email and sent to President@WorthingtonAreaArtLeague.com <mailto:President@WorthingtonAreaArtLeague.com> From there, they will be put into a presentation that will be delivered via Zoom on September 10th and each artist will discuss their pieces. Images are rolling in and artwork is being arranged in the order it is received, so be sure to email your images soon. Any image format should be acceptable but if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Some of our members are taking on the STRADA Easel Challenge for the month of September: 30 drawings or paintings from life in 30 days. Look for daily posts from Justin Collamore and Nancy Vance On Facebook and Instagram.
What is the the STRADA September 30 Day Challenge? This September, artists from all over the world will be participating in the STRADA painting and drawing daily challenge. Artists are entered to win one of 5 STRADA brand Plein air Easels by drawing upon finishing the challenge. Good luck Justin and Nancy!
