I've been an artist virtually all my life. I began to make a living at it as an apprentice sketch artist for a local sign company at the age of 18. From the beginning art has been exciting to me. It is like a puzzle. the pieces, color, light, concept and narrative. Putting it all together brings a profound sense of personal satisfaction. While in the sign business, I developed Graphic and Architectural concepts for local and national accounts, including another Columbus Original, Wendy's Old Fashioned Hamburgers. My fine arts career began in the late 80's when I discovered watercolor. I've since exhibited and received awards in numerous juried shows throughout Ohio. I am active in several arts organizations and am a past president of the Central Ohio Watercolor Society. I now work and accept commissions in watercolor, acrylic, and pen & Ink illustration.
