Judging & Awards
• Judge: Carmen Ostermann
• Best of Show, 2nd Place, 3rd Place Awards will be presented at the opening reception
• A People’s Choice award will be tallied by Grange Audubon and will be awarded at close of the show
Artwork Requirements
• 2D pieces and 3D pieces wired for hanging. No sawtooth hangers.
• Pieces must be family-friendly.
• Pieces must be associated with or inspired by an ecological organization’s efforts, such as protecting animals, conserving wetlands, managing healthy waterways, creating urban forests, etc. A list of examples is published in the monthly WAAL newsletter.
• Each piece must have a brief written description explaining how the chosen ecological project inspired the work.
• Entry Fee: $15 for one or more entries.
• Maximum Entries: At least two entries per artist will be accepted. You may enter a third piece contingent on whether we have space. You will be notified whether or not we have room for your third piece. When registering, enter your pieces in the order you want them to be considered.
• Sales: Sales will be handled by Grange Audubon
• Commissions: Grange Audubon will withhold a 20% commission and charge patrons sales tax of 7.5%
• WAAL Members Only: Your dues must be paid-up for the 2023/2024 membership year to enter.
Three options to enter and pay:
• Option 1 – Complete the online entry form and pay online via PayPal.
• Option 2 – Email required entry information to Accounts Payable and send a check to the mailing address below.
• Option 3 – Mail the entry information with a check to the mailing address below.
