#Worthington Area Art League – announcement 11/8/19 #

I said I was going to send one last Friday but then there was a flurry of important announcements sent out of cycle and then there was really nothing to send on Friday. But since there is a meeting next week, my goal is to send something the Friday before each meeting.

Now my next planned announcement is on or about Nov 22.

Chris Rankin, a Columbus College of Art & Design graduate and local business owner, has been painting with beeswax for 12 years. Rankin displays his works throughout Central Ohio. His work is part of the Hilton, the Greater Columbus Convention Center and Art 360 collections. Rankin served on the board of the Ohio Art League.

>>>Recruiting Volunteers for December Holiday Party

Volunteers are needed for the holiday day party December 12. We need at least four people at 5:30 to help set-up tables & chairs and/or to take them down after dinner. We need someone to organize centerpieces for the tables. Please let Beth know if you can help President@worthingtonareaartleague.com

The dinner will be pot luck with WAAL providing the main course and members bringing sides and deserts. Joni Meeker is in process of securing some entertainment for the evening.

A friend texted me with this question. I remember some time ago a gentleman giving a very nice

presentation on this subject at a WAAL meeting, but I cannot recall his name.
