Ruth Ann Mitchell is a long-time member of WAAL and recently accepted the role of Membership Chair. She is responsible for maintaining the membership roster and compiling our bi-monthly announcements via email.
“Years ago I began playing with texture in my paintings. The environment provided unending inspiration and I translated rivers, valleys and rock formations onto the canvas. In those pieces of art I now see images of events that were taking place in my life at that time.”
