Workshop – Abstracts for Real

Instructor – Amy Flowers – Explore the world of figurative abstract painting, featuring acrylic paint and mediums.  We’ll learn to view and paint realistic subjects with a simplified, abstract eye in the manner of the early Modernist and Expressionist painters.  Play with a combination of paint and texture media, forming your own colorful palette and creative vision as we go along, finishing with several canvas works…no more boring bowls of fruit with this workshop.
