A few items have arrived in the inbox since the last announcement. So here they are!

Speaker  – Susan Myers
Susan Myers will share her knowledge of the art and life of Aminah Robinson (1940-2015), a renown Columbus-based artist and MacArthur “Genius Award” winner.  Susan enriches her talk with personal observations of traveling with Aminah while writing her dissertation, “The Art of Aminah Robinson”.  Susan has been in art education for over 40 years and currently is an adjunct professor at CCAD.  She teaches classes in Late Modern Art History, Contemporary Art, Feminist Art, and African American Art History.

Speaker – Mark Gingerich

Mark Gingerich is a plein air impressionist painter.  His pieces capture the visual poetry experienced in his travels abroad and throughout Ohio.  Mark’s website:  www.markgingerich.com

WAAL show January 11-23 M-F 9-5 and you can see our exhibit and the gallery exhibit on January 25-February 23 M-F 9-5 and Saturday 11-4.

The show will be picked up by Diana and Linda on February 26 1-4 and then taken to Bill Westerman’s home for you to pick up.  
February 27 1-2 or 6-7  The gallery will re wrap how you had them for us to pick up.  
The buyer will contact you for purchase.  The art must stay the entire show.  After you retrieve your piece from Bill’s you can meet up with the buyer to receive your money and to provide them with the art.  At that point you will need to mail the 20% to the above address written out to Ohio Arts Council.

Kelly Reichert has joined 3060Artworks as its newest resident artist. The gallery is located at 3060 West Broad Street, in the Hilltop, and is actively engaged in revitalizing the neighborhood through art and community. It is next door to Third Way Cafe.

Vivian Ripley is exhibiting 12 works entitled Color and Light in the Landscape at the Worthington Dental Group, located in the west end of the Worthington Mall.  The show will extend through February with the possibility of an upcoming reception.  Any questions?   Please call Vivian
