# Worthington Area Art League – announcement 8/16/19 #
Here we are middle of August. Time is flying. This is the promised “next” announcement.
One very important item in here is the “Call for Entry” for the league’s exhibit at The Church at Mill Run. It is an ALL member show with prizes and is presented in a very large venue. Take a few minutes and check out the information contained in this announcement.
And now on to the news.

What a great speaker Chris Brinkman was at our last meeting. It was fascinating to hear the stories about his adventures and I really appreciated the ones about our wild animals here at home. Thanks to Beth for arranging for his presentation.
And THANK YOU for the generous gift and the card. I have not decided where or how to spend it yet, but am sure some of it will go for art supplies. Also I was so surprised to get the card, you all are very sneaky, I had no idea it was being passed around.
As I have said before, it was an honor to serve as your Vice President and President and so appreciate all who participate in our league’s activities. Next year I will be sitting in the audience with you and have more time to visit.

Artists,Call for ART! Attached is the brochure for the 4th Biennial Art Exhibit of Northwest Ohio.IMPORTANT DATES:
- Nov. 9 thru Jan. 5: Exhibition on view at Way Library in Perrysburg, 101 E. Indiana Avenue.
- October 31: DEADLINE for Applications to Way Library or chairman’s address (next page).
- November 2-6: Drop-off of works at Way Library during open hours. Installation November 7-8.
- November 10 at 2 pm: Opening Reception Program to commemorate Veterans Day at the Way Library Gallery, 101 E. Indiana Avenue, Perrysburg OH.
