Kyle Meeker is a CCAD graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts and a graduate degree in Art Education from Ashland University. He teaches art at Westland High School where he strives to instill a love of art in and beyond the classroom. Working in oil and watercolors, he’s show his work locally at Bryn Du Mansion in Granville, and throughout Ohio Watercolor Society.
He’s also an Urban Sketcher and has traveled the world sketching and capturing locations in ink and watercolor. His mission with plain air Urban Sketching is to raise the artistic storytelling and educational value of on-locations sketching, promoting its practice and connecting people around the world who draw in cities where they live and travel.

I would like to encourage you to try out my workshop: LET’S DO A PORTRAIT on Feb. 5 at the Mirolo Barn, Sunny 95 Park, 9am to 4 pm with an hour break for lunch. I plan to start with some basics and a demo before we will bring in a model for all to work from. You may work in the medium of your choice—-I can guide you in the process. On Feb. 26 I am giving another Sat. class: LANDSCAPE IN PASTEL at the Senior Center Bldg. 1, Room 105. This will be lots of fun with some new ideas for you.
