# Worthington Area Art League – announcement 11/22/19 #
So here’s the latest news. Lots of stuff today!

Just a reminder about the WAAL Holiday Dinner on December 12th. We will have appetizers and social time at 6 and dinner beginning at 6:30. Joni is preparing an artist’s version of the game Kahoot to test our knowledge. She’ll project art-related questions on the screen and we can answer on paper or with our phones.
WAAL will provide pulled chicken, pork, and beef. (If you prefer tofu, please bring your own recipe so we can all try it.) Members should bring either a side dish or desert to share. I know we have a lot of great cooks, so can’t wait to try your special dishes.
Please RSVP to President@worthingtonareaartleague.com so I know how many are coming. But if it is a last minute decision you are more than welcome.
Volunteers – I will send you a reminder prior to the date. Volunteers for set up should be there at 5:30.

I want to invite you to an exhibit I just hung at Quest Conference Center at Polaris- the full info is on the attached flyer. The facility is just east of the I-71 Polaris exit and very accessible. The hours are excellent (7 AM to 6 PM weekdays, usually open later than that and very often on weekends, as described on the flyer). The people who work there are very friendly, and it is fine to stop by any time. It features 28 of my 20″ x 30″ framed pieces that are quite varied as to geography and seasons etc. (the photo on the flyer was a double-seller at a recent WV exhibit). Hope you can see it (and feel free to share the flyer of course).
